Growing number of small businesses are choosing to outsource their IT systems as they find it easier to work with virtual office space, it has been claimed.
An article in the Australian details that many firms are now outsourcing their IT infrastructure as it removes the complications of buying and managing complex technologies.
John O'Farrell, managing director of Venture Capital Partners, told the news source: "We found that we were not using a central office so we decided to go virtual. We had our own server and local area network and were looking for alternatives – outsourcing offered that alternative."
He added that as long as he has an internet connection he can access his virtual office "from anywhere in the world".
Meanwhile, businessman James Caan, who appears on the BBC show Dragon's Den, has told the Telegraph that virtual office space can create an immediate national presence "without the high overheads".
He added that exploiting the virtual office technology can cost as little as £100 per month yet can support a global operation.
Executive Offices Group offers a wide selection of office space, including executive office suites and serviced offices.
