Fresh Business Thinking - by Claire West
Entrepreneurship is thriving in the UK. That is the message which emerged today at the outset of Global Entrepreneurship Week as high-quality office space provider Executive Offices Group (EOG) released its quarterly figures for its Virtual Offices division.
EOG has reported today that it has seen a two per cent increase in revenue month on month for the past quarter, together with a 30 per cent increase in its Virtual Office customer base over the past year.
John Drover chief executive of EOG said: "These results clearly show that the spirit of entrepreneurship is alive and well in the UK. Our Virtual Office customers are entrepreneurs and start-ups from a wide range of sectors including finance, recruitment, management consultancy and media.
"As a company, we are pleased to be providing a product that is enabling a growth in entrepreneurship by reducing overheads, while providing services and a business address akin to conventional office space."
EOG provides high quality virtual office services at some of London's most prestigious addresses including No 1 Cornhill, St. James' Square and Grosvenor Street.
Customer and partner, Mark Riley-Pitt of management consultancy group The Lumos Partnership comments: "Having a virtual office with EOG has definitely given us a competitive advantage. We have the look, feel and services of conventional office space at 1/100th of the price. I'd definitely recommend using a virtual office, not only for a new and aspiring professional services firm, but even more established companies can enjoy the benefits as well!"
