City of London Festival: free lunchtime musical events in the Square Mile

This March, the City of London Festival is organising a series of free musical events as part of its Winter Concert series. Featuring a mixture of jazz and classic artists, the concerts are part of the City of London’s ongoing celebration of arts in the City.

The first concert in the series will take place at St Giles Church, Cripplegate, on the 24th March at 13:05, featuring the Balkan and Latin jazz stylings of the Branco Stoysin Trio.

On Tuesday 30th March at 13:05 the highly-acclaimed Fidelo Trio will be performing at the Bishopsgate Institute – conveniently located within walking distance of our London meeting rooms at Bishopsgate.

The final concert in the series will be performed by the City of London Sinfonia and takes place at 13:05 on the 31st March, close to our London meeting rooms at Central Court and Old Bailey. This concert – situated in the beautiful surroundings of St Andrew, Holborn – will feature Joseph Cullen as director (described by Opera News as “clearly a name to watch”) and Hilary Summers as contralto.
